A Playground for Adventure

Colorado and recreation are synonymous, which is exactly what makes living here so appealing. For every sun lover, snow chaser and city dweller across all levels of expertise, our diverse landscape offers endless activities to help you play and explore.

There’s no denying the goods are enticing around these parts. The sparkling snow-capped mountains are a siren-song for skiers, riders, snowshoers and of course, après-goers. Powder days are sacred at any of the 26 ski resorts, made world-famous by small town hospitality and big-time elevation. Take the kids, or the kids-at-heart, tubing, ice skating or snowmobiling to complete any winter wonderland day away.

After the snow melts and the rivers and lakes rise, the rafters, kayakers, tubers, paddle-boarders and fly-fishers come out to play. Don’t worry if you’re new to the scene, we’ve got lots of experienced guides to safely show you the ropes.

Whatever revs your engine, chances are that’s what attracted you to Colorado in the first place. Getting out and having fun is what Coloradans do best. No matter where you land in this incredible state, the recreation opportunities are all around.
