Small Business Support

Business owners looking for support on applying COVID-19 resources to your business should contact your local Small Business Development Center (SBDC). The SBDC Network has over 300 trained consultants across the state waiting to talk to you. Sign up for a free consultation today.

On your local SBDC’s website, click on “What We Do” and then “Consulting” in the navigation menu. You’ll need to fill out a 3-minute form. You should receive a response within 24 hours.

Featured Programs

  • SBA Disaster Loans for Small Businesses: Colorado small businesses throughout all 64 counties and on all tribal lands may seek up to $2M. Apply through SBA. If you have questions about the application process, review SBA’s Guidebook.
  • SBA Express Bridge Loan: This loan allows small businesses who currently have a business relationship with an SBA Express Lender to access up to $25,000 with less paperwork and a faster timeline.
  • CDLE Unemployment Insurance: If you work for an employer that closed or reduced your hours to help stop the spread of COVID-19, you can file or reopen an unemployment claim.
  • Work-Share Program: Provides an alternative to laying off employees by allowing them to keep working, but with fewer hours. While an employee is working fewer hours, he or she may be eligible to collect part of his or her regular unemployment benefits.
  • Help Colorado Now: Businesses sign up here if they are looking to be a part of the medical supply chain and/or have products to donate
  • ToGoDenver.com: Offers Denver and Boulder restaurants free registration to list their delivery and takeout services. Restaurant seekers can search listings by restaurant name, by neighborhood or by cuisine.
  • 2-1-1 Colorado: Connects you to critical resources related to shelter availability, childcare, rent payment assistance, and more
