Convergence of factors brought Outdoor Retailer to Colorado

Outdoor Retailer moved to Denver through two unrelated actions: Salt Lake City’s contract ending, and the Outdoor Industry Association growing dissatisfied with Utah’s stance on protecting public lands. It was a natural progression to move to Colorado, thanks in part to Governor John Hickenlooper reaffirming the state’s commitment to protecting public land. This show gives an opportunity for Front Range outdoor companies and startups to make their mark, with more spotlight on the area.
