|DENVER – July 17, 2019 – The Colorado Minority Business Office, the Colorado Small Business Development Center Network and the Rocky Mountain World Trade Center Institute announced today the grant award to eight minority, veteran and women-owned companies in Colorado.
The Export Grant is a financial assistance program administered and funded by the Colorado Minority Business Office in partnership with the Colorado Small Business Development Center and the Rocky Mountain World Trade Center Institute. The grant and training provide an educational pathway and equipe small and medium-sized minority, veteran and women-owned Colorado businesses to develop a strategic plan for export markets and to help offset the costs of international business development. The grants of up to $10,000 each are awarded to companies that are new to exporting or are expanding into new export markets.
The eight grantees are:

· DynAeroTech – Gus Hernandez ( El Paso County)
· Sankofic Journey – Mattye Crowley (Denver County)
· Segrity – Veronica Ferro (Denver County)
· Ensight Energy – Monique Dyers (Denver County)
· Centennial Bolt – Mark Cordova (Jefferson County)
· Sweet Caroline Confections – Andrea Jones (Denver County)
· GMA Global Trade – Giura Polar (Denver County)
Grants may be used for international business development and marketing projects including but not exclusively for airfare and lodging in a foreign market, foreign trade show exhibition and conference costs and targeted advertising in overseas industry trade publications.
